As a lifelong dog lover, I’ve always had a soft spot for our four-legged friends. Growing up, my family had two adorable shih-tzus that brought us endless joy and companionship. But it wasn’t until I met my first yorkie, Lisa, and truly fell in love with the breed. She has been with me for more than 10 years.
There was something about their perky ears, spunky personalities, and fluffy coats that stole my heart. And so, when the time came to start my own business, I knew exactly what I wanted to do: create a daycare and walking service dedicated to the health and happiness of dogs.
Thus was born my company, I started small and intentionally remained small, with limited spaces, to ensure more personalized attention to my little guests. I was offering a variety of services for dogs of all breeds and sizes, but it wasn’t long before I realized that my passion lay with the yorkies. I loved their unique personalities, their loyal dispositions, and their adorable little faces.
As time passed, I decided to focus exclusively on yorkies, so I changed the name to Yorkies of Chelsea, and set about creating a daycare and walking service that was tailored specifically to their needs.
One of the things that sets Yorkies of Chelsea apart is our deep understanding of the breed. We know that yorkies are a special kind of dog, with their own quirks and idiosyncrasies. We take the time to get to know each dog individually, so we can provide the best possible care and attention.
Our daycare is a safe and loving environment where yorkies can thrive. We provide everything they need to feel at home, from soft beds for napping to plenty of toys for playtime. And because we only work with yorkies, we’re able to create a community where these little dogs can form strong bonds with each other.
Our walking service is equally dedicated to the well-being of our furry friends. We know that yorkies need plenty of exercise and fresh air, and we make sure they get it. We offer personalized walking plans to suit each dog’s needs, whether they prefer a leisurely stroll or a more brisk pace.
Over the years, I’ve watched my business grow and flourish. I’ve met so many wonderful dogs and their owners, and it’s been a privilege to be a part of their lives, and while the business has changed and evolved, one thing has remained constant: my love for yorkies.
